How to Teach your Dog to Lie Down

This is one of the difficult tricks to teach your dogs because the position in it is a submissive posture. But you can train your dogs by being relaxed and training positively. 

1. Take a good smelling treat like a biscuit and hold it in your closed fist.
2. Take your fist near your dog's face and when he sniffs it, slowly take your hand to the floor, so he follows it too.
3. After this slowly slide your hand through the floor in front of him to stimulate his rest of the body to follow his head to the floor.
4. Once he’s lying on the floor in down position, say “Down,” and give him the treat, and share affection by rubbing his head.

Repeat this exercise daily and if the dog lunges towards the treat say "no" and take the treat away. Once, he's lying in the desired position give him the treat and share affection with him. 

How to Teach your Dog to Sit Down

Teaching your dog to sit down is among the easiest tricks to teach dogs and should be one of the first tricks to teach. Follow these steps:

1. Take a good smelling treat like a biscuit and hold it in your closed fist and take it near your dog’s nose.
2. Take your hand up, following which he will lunge towards the treat causing his bottom to lower.
3. As he comes in the sitting position, say “Sit” give him the treat, and share affection by rubbing his head.

Repeat this trick daily and if the dog lunges towards the treat say "no" and take the treat away. Once, he's lying in the desired position give him the treat and share affection with him. 

How to Teach your Dog to give Shake Hands

"Shake Hands" is among the most famous and cuter tricks that your dog can learn. It is also considered as one of the easiest tricks to teach. 

1. Take a trick in your hand and close your fist. 
2. The dog will paw at your hand in which the treat is kept but as he takes his paw towards that hand, you should catch his paw wth your empty hand and shake it after that give him treat.
3.  In few tries just take your empty hand towards your dog and say "shake" as soon he shakes it give him the treat.

Repeat this trick daily and in few days your dog will be perfect in shaking hands ;)
